Monkey Depot Offers Free Shipping and a New Figure
This weekend only the online 12″ action figure site, Monkey Depot, is offering free shipping on all orders of $50 or more.
I recently placed an order with the site and I’ve now got 30 nude 12″ action figure bodies sitting in my garage (at about $1/each, this was a great buy). What am I gonna do with these 30 nude figures? Why create a crazy custom toy, of course. Alex and I were discussing a few ideas and narrowed down to one just wacky enough to work. I’ll probably use 5 or 6 bodies for that design . . . and I’ve got some others in mind.

I’ve gotta keep resisting the 12-inch action figures. These things are way too cool — and way too expensive — for me to get into them in a big way.
Hmm. I’d have to order 220 of these to qualify for free shipping! That doesn’t make sense. Though maybe $4 for one of these might still be a good deal considering that I’m ordering them overseas… Hmm.
30 naked dudes? Wild! Considering how DCUC9 still hasn’t shown up here, I’m tempted to buy one of those bodies, bulk up the breasts and hips/thighs with Apoxie Sculpt, replace the head with a redheaded female’s, slap some leopard-print cloth over the breasts and crotch, and call it Giganta. She was pretty butch on SuperFriends, after all…
@Wes – I think they’re offering a 12-inch female nude. 🙂 But I saw Wave 9 at Wal-Mart this last week so I think it’s finally starting to hit stores.
