More Random Photos from Glyos HQ

More of the madness. We’re about to run out to Funspot so enjoy the crazy while we jump in the car.

We’re workin’ hard like burgers around here today.

  1. In the pic with the back of the Power Lords manual, there is an interesting blue figure in the bottom right corner, kinda looks like a Fisher Price Adventure Person…any idea what it is?

Sorry, accidentally posted on the wrong post initially 🙁

  2. Thanks, looks like a match…er no pun intended.
I NEVER heard or seen these before…

    Thanks 🙂

  3. They were quite big in the UK. I used to have the MAC Mountain set, which was a large, brown plastic base with a load of secret doors that opened. There was a helicopter landing pad that rolled out of one side and so on.

Originally they were sold with vehicles (I had a 6-wheeler with a working little winch on the front, I recall) but later re-packaged and re-branded (possibly by a different company) as single-figure, pocket-money priced packs. In each you got a basic figure plus a sprue of accessories, each with a theme – there was a diver, a cowboy, a soldier and so on.

What was coolest of all is the head had a large neck ”pin” that held the body together. Pull the head off and the figure ”exploded” into bits.
