My Boston Report
I’ve got a brief write-up of my trip over at the Steve Jackson Games website, but that focuses mainly on my work-related events and barely touches on my time visiting everyone at Glyos HQ (Onell Design). Those of you who followed battlegrip.com on Thursday got to watch as the latest Custom Corps wave launched, and if you follow me on Twitter then you got to see even more, but I thought of a few things to add:
- The Budos Band — Marcus turned me onto this band; awesome instrumental work! Highly recommended if you’re into rockin’ guitar, solid bass, and a great horn sound.
- CollectionDX — I can’t believe Josh drove out Thursday night to hang with us, but it really added to the fun. Man, if I lived in that area I’d be chatting with Josh and playing with toys just about every day.
- Calgrim — Jesse came by late on Thursday and looked more like an escaped convict than ever before! Man, that beard is intense. And he had a box of upcoming toys in his car; I am all over that new Grim Squad colorway figure. Trust me, guys, the colors are gorgeous.
A great trip, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit to Boston (likely in March of 2011). Thank you to the stores, the guys at GPI, and everyone at Onell for making me comfortable and happy while I was away from home.
