My Latest Glyos Custom

I posted this shot to Twitter yesterday, and over at the October Toys forum, but not all of you see those spots so I figured I’d throw the photo up here.

I built this most recent Glyos System (Onell Design) custom figure out of some fairly basic (and easy to find) bits, but the head is special since it’s directly from Tarantulas Twit (blog, Twitter); the head was packed with my Nibbler toy and as soon as I saw the head I knew it needed a body.

It took several tries to create a body I was happy with, and some of those rejected bodies actually found their way to becoming other customs, but in the end I think I settled on the right design. And at the moment this is my favorite custom figure (and I’ve built/painted several over the last month).

  1. I like the unconventional upper body and arms… I’m such a traditionalist that it’s really tough for me to get past making Glyos customs with perfect proportions. I actually assembled two junker part customs last night that I am planning on paint up… Matt gave me a whole set of blank black heads a while back for customs. I just need to grab a few Callgrims for parts to finish of these two, and be able to make a few more.
