My Ten Favorite G.I. Joe Comic Book Covers of the Marvel Era
A few years ago I posted two different sets of comic covers — “My Ten Favorite Star Wars Comic Book Covers of the Marvel Era†and “My Ten Favorite Transformers Comic Book Covers of the Marvel Era” — showing off some of my absolute Star Wars and Transformers that were published by Marvel back when the brands were first new.
Today, because I was going through the old G.I. Joe comics of the eighties, I’ve decided to share another selection of comic book covers, turning attention to Marvel’s G.I. Joe series that was a large part of my own enjoyment of G.I. Joe back in the mid-eighties.

I just started collecting this series about 3 years ago. The #1 yearbook is defintiely one of my favorites. Some great choices here!
@Jason – The collections are a great way to get all of the stories. Amazon even offer the collections on Kindle; my iPad is loaded!
@Phillip Yes, I’ve seen Amazon and Google Play has them, really cool. Most physical copies you can still find at a pretty good price and it’s been my gateway drug into ’80s comics.
