My Weirdo Toys Shirt Arrived (and included a surprise)
I know you’ve gotta remember the post from last week about Weirdo Toys. I mean, it was just last week. You forgot already? Man, you’re either busier than I am or I’m just not all that entertaining.
Anyway, when I posted about Weirdo Toys last week I also ordered an Apple Devil shirt from the site. It’s a cool, comfortable t-shirt and I wore it to work on Friday, but it was the booklet and personalized note that really made me happy when the shirt arrived.
The booklet? Well, I didn’t know about it but there’s a Weirdo Toys booklet that was published by Wide Awake Press last year. It’s a saddle-stitched booklet with color photos and some text; nothing super fancy but it was fun to flip through.
I don’t think the booklet is still available so I’m very happy that Justin tossed one in with my shirt order. Not only was it fun to flip through but it makes me want to create a battlegrip.com book. Maybe that can be one of my projects over the Christmas break at the end of the year. After all, the site will turn one around then and what better time than a birthday to put together a book?
Thanks for the booklet, the note, and for getting my shirt out to me so fast, Justin. And good luck with Weirdo Toys.
Thanks, and you’re welcome. Glad you liked the booklet and the note. I made those little booklets as kind if a promo for the blog. I’d give ’em away at comic shows as a “preview” to the blog.
People seem to like the booklet, but i’m not sure it’s actually lead anyone to my site. Oh well.
Hey, thanks again for the support. Glad to hear you liked the Apple Devil T-shirt.
