New Hot Wheels Batmobiles at San Diego Comic Con
So very nice to see both the 1940s and 1980s Hot Wheels Batmobiles on display here at San Diego Comic Con. As soon as I encounter these in stores I’ll be buying both, but between the two I have to be more excited by the eighties design. Man, seeing this car just again reminds me how wrong it is that I do not have a Super Powers Batmobile. It’s so very sad that the DC Universe Classics line never created a Batmobile for the line . . . I’m sure that if they had it would have been a Super Powers Batmobile.

I picked up the 1940s car the second I saw it, and almost pre-ordered the 1980s car assuming it was this design. Now that I see the picture, I’m kind of glad I didn’t order it after all (because the preorder plus shipping would have made it $17).
I’ll pick it up when I see it in stores (have any stores besides Target received these?). I also definitely need to get the 1989 batmobile when it’s re-released, I think it will be in the same wave as the 1980s car.
