New Munchkin Goodies at the Office
Yesterday afternoon, between meetings, I was handed a selection of new Munchkin swag that we’ve been preparing for the summer conventions. In addition to the Board of Health (shown in the below pic) there were also new journals and the Munchkin Imaginary Friend. What is the Munchkin Imaginary Friend you ask? Well, it’s a cute little item that should be quite popular once we share the specifics. It’s definitely a funny idea that Steve brought to us one day and then we ran with.
(Even if I supposedly ran too far into “evil” and was brought back to the light side by Steve and Andrew. BUT if they’d let me take my idea all the way then things would have been really crazy.)
Phil, will there ever be an app/software version of Munchkin? So often I would like to play Munchkin but I can’t find anyone else who shares that enthusiasm. My girlfriend always dreads when I ask. lol She thinks it’s too complicated. But I would love to have a version of the game I could play against the computer or online. Maybe it’s just too difficult a game to create A.I. for? In any case, I would definitely buy virtual Munchkin and its expansions, even though I already have many of the card sets.
BTW, I had been following your site for awhile (came for the toys) before I realized you’re involved with creating one of my favorite games! Very cool to see little updates like this.
