New Warhammer 40K “Choose Your Own Adventure” Game Book
Following Hive of the Dead (first mentioned here) and Beneath the City of the White Wolf (first mentioned here) is the new Herald of Oblivion game book from Black Library. This is their third “choose your own adventure”-style game book released in the last year and it’s probably every bit as much fun as the last two.
And if it’s anything at all like Hive of the Dead then you don’t even need to be be a Warhammer 40K expert (Amazon.com search*) to enjoy the adventure. All you’ll need are some dice, paper, a pencil, and a quiet room where you can make bad decisions and watch your character die. Well, if you make the choices I usually make that’s what will happen to you.
