New Wolverine Statue from Bowen Designs

Bowen Designs (official website, at Sideshow Collectibles*) is offering new exclusives statues and one bust at their website, and of the four pieces being offered I suspect that this Original Wolverine Statue will be their hottest seller.

15.5-inches tall and $235 ($257 including shipping), this is one of the larger Wolverine statues I’ve encountered. Of course the photo shows that a significant chunk of that height is the base, but even with that included I suspect this is roughly the equivalent of a 12-inch scale action figure.

And just because I could I ran this search for Wolverine statues at Amazon.com* to get an idea of how $250 compares to what has been offered before, and while it is definitely on the high end of the scale it’s nowhere near the top dollar mark.

I’m not enough of a Wolverine fan to buy one of these for myself, but Bowen Designs makes cool enough work that I was pretty sure this was a statue that needed to be shared with everyone; though the hardcore and insane Wolverine fans have already got their pre-orders in since the announcement was made a few days ago.
