News – Transformers Autoscout up for Pre-Order

www.bigbadtoystore.com has the bootleg Transformers toy, Autoscout, up for pre-orders with delivery expected in June. From an outfit known as iGear, this transforming microcassette toy represents a device that Soundwave used in Season Two of the old animated series. Part of me wants one of these, despite how goofy they look and how unimportant they are, just for a chance to see what kind of quality this group manages to achieve. If they can reach the level of the Impossible Toys Quintesson bootlegs (which I’ve reviewed here) then there’s a good chance that iGear will succeed and we’ll see cooler bootleg options in the future.

Has anyone pre-ordered one of these or seen any other info on them online?
