Nuremberg Toy Fair!!!
Today I set out for a week adventure, traveling to Germany for the 2016 Nuremberg Toy Fair where I’ll spend most of my time working on meetings with our licensees and a few secret discussions that may result in great things. This is my second time to the show, and this time around I think I’m well-prepared and have time scheduled to enjoy the show. Last year was a brutal trip — fun, but exhausting — and this time around I’ve got one extra day at the show so maybe things will go more smoothly.
I’m trying this trip with carry-ons only, cramming a week into two small bags. I snagged a new Tumi 4 Wheel Garment Bag* a few weeks ago to carry my clothes, sample games, and assorted needs, and a trusty Tumi sling backpack carries the iPad. Yep, this time I’m trying something completely different and leaving the laptop at home. Will this be a mistake? I guess I’ll know next week.
I don’t get back until the 31st, but don’t worry at all about new stuff here at battlegrip.com. I’ve got an assortment of posts scheduled and ready to go, and with luck I’ll be able to post a few times from the show.
First, though, comes the terrible pain of international travel. Good thing I’ve loaded the iPad with books and videos.
