NYTF and Yotel!
I made it to NYC and am ready for NYTF! 90% of my time is already locked away for Steve Jackson Games meetings, but with any luck I’ll get a little time to walk the show.
I’m again at the Yotel, my favorite hotel in NYC. Love this place! If you ever find yourself on a trip to NYC I highly recommend staying here. Great music. Great atmosphere. Awesome location. I love it here!
Sounds like a blast! If you get over to Funko’s booth, ask them if they intentionally backed off the 70s look of the ReAction line. That’s been buggin’ me all week!
@Jay – I spent time at the NECA booth yesterday and discussed the ReAction look. In person they look to me as if they’re more influenced by 1983-1985 Kenner Star Wars figures than the 1978/1979 wave, but even then up close the toys look quite different from the pics we’ve seen.
I’ll try to get back there before the show ends and take my own pics of the toys.
