October, 1997 and the Star Wars B’omarr Monk

Here’s a real blast from the past that sparks memories. I can remember ordering the Kenner B’omarr Monk action figure when it was released online back in 1997, and seeing this page from the October issue of Wizard that year makes me wonder just how many of these toys were made. Tens of thousands would be my guess, and for every person who thought they would get wealthy selling these in the future all I can say is: Sorry. Things just never quite worked out that well for the aftermarket value of the line.
