Optikk Suffers the Same Fate as the Others
So Optikk was released at Matty Collector today, and as expected it wasn’t smooth or enjoyable for a lot of fans. I was fortunate enough that someone scored a figure for me, but it sounds like more than a handful of people are going to bed Optikk-free tonight.

I’m glad that you were able to get one through your friend. I was not originally intending to get Optikk, but decided to go ahead and add him to the cart for fear that I’ll want him in a couple of months and have to resort to ebay. Now I’m pretty excited that he’s on his way.
Mine arrived in the mail today! Aside from a loose ankle which wouldn’t allow him to stand without tumbling (I fixed it myself – thanks for that Mattel) he’s pretty awesome!

As soon as it was over I was off to interview Onell Designs’ Matt Doughty–he lives about a half-hour away from me. What a great guy!
@Poe – I got lucky and someone nabbed Optikk for me.
Matt mentioned you were headed out to visit him. I love that attic space in his house; did you get a chance to look in the back room of the attic where the toys are piled and stacked everywhere?
I just figured it out… Matt’s a Toy Dragon… you know how dragons always have that dark lair with treasure all piled up? Matt: Toy Dragon. 😉
Hey, Poe, when can we expect to see the Matt Doughty interview? I can’t wait to see your take on the Onell empire!
I went to bed optikk-free. It made my optikks almost leak. It was tragic.

@Monsterforge: It was a looong interview, so it will probably have to wait until this weekend when I’ll have time to transcribe it. So hopefully next week.
