Paolo Bacigalupi’s “Ship Breaker” Limited Edition

Ship Breaker is up for order at Subterranean Press, and if I hadn’t already bought a big ticket item this weekend I’d be all over this $125 limited edition book. Illustrated by Jon Foster, this book’s limited to 300 copies and after as much fun as I had reading Bacigalupi’s Pump Six and Other Stories* the combination of his text with Foster’s art is just begging me to place an order.

But since I am at home waiting on the A/C repairman it’s smarter if I just let this one go. $125 isn’t a bad price for a limited edition book with art by a master, but between the horse purchase (mentioned here) and A/C repair costs I’ve gotta skip this one.
