But not too popular, since the Star Wars action figures were not included in the three for $2 sale. Three for $2? Wow, that’s an awesome deal on what seems to be various Mego action figures. Looks like Marvel and Star Trek toys, but can anyone name all four of the figures shown in the ad on page 21 of this paper?
Ilia and Hulk, obviously, but I can’t nail the other two in the middle. Thinking about Black Hole, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Buck Rogers, Pocket Heroues, and Mattel’s Flash Gordon among some other 3.75″ lines, I can’t think of anything that seems to match, though I have been operating under the possibly incorrect assumption that the second guy in from the left has a beard.
@Dan N – I cannot decide if the second guy from the left inspired Michael Jackson’s Thriller werewolf costume or if I’m insane.
