Promoting Star Wars Galaxy Magazine in Topps’ Trading Cards
A few years ago I chased down the entire run of Star Wars Galaxy from Topps. This was a mid-nineties magazine focused on Star Wars — especially merchandise and collectibles — and finding those old magazines was a happy day and has led to many hours of enjoyment.
Well, I recently started opening the Shadows of the Empire trading cards (also from Topps in 1996) and as soon as I saw this promotional card I just had to share it with you guys. Shadows of the Empire was the big Star Wars event two decades ago, and looking back at it today that was an ambitious project that I’m surprised went as well as it did. So many moving parts to track!
