Quick Pics – Cubex Engineer Huff

I snapped pics of the unofficial Transformers Huffer from Cubex, Engineer Huff, and decided I would share the shots with everyone. If I were to write a review I would be suggesting you avoid this toy because:

  • The joints are far too loose.
  • The hands don’t quite hide inside; the plates don’t lock into place.
  • The weapon hidden inside snapped, breaking the plastic.
  • The flip-around plate the conceals part of the toy in robot mode fell off.

So rather than writing a review I think we’ll stick to a few pics.

The Cubex Engineer Huff may be the closest thing we've ever seen to the Transformers cartoon-styled Huffer. Enlarge image!

Robot mode twice!!! Decent articulation, but loose joints and broken parts make it far cooler in pics than in life. Enlarge image!

Three unofficial Transformers Huffer toys ready for action. Each has pluses and minuses, but at the moment the smallest -- iGear's design -- is my favorite. Enlarge image!
