Return of the Jedi Shirts, Bedding, and Underoos

This 1983 Fred Meyer newspaper advertisement comes from the release of Return of the Jedi in 1983. What makes this particular ad so very fun is that it isn’t for Kenner’s action figures. Those ads are a blast — as you can probably tell by the fact that I have published two books of Star Wars newspaper ads (Collect These Figures and Accessories* and A Galaxy of Action Figure Savings*) — but it can also be a hell of a lot of fun to find something a little off the beaten path. This is a great ad!
