Review – Adventure Kartel HoodZomb
After the weekend’s KA Mumb review (review here) I thought it might be fun to look at another Adventure Kartel series (Amazon.com search*) 12-inch scale action figure. So the HoodZomb stands ready for action, even if the toy is basically the older Shadow Zomb (review here) that was released way back in 2009.
Hooded!
The HoodZomb’s “special” bit is the fact that the toy’s jumpsuit has a hood. Yeah, that doesn’t sound all that exciting. But since I (now regretfully) ended up selling my Shadow Zomb after a growing disgust with the entire line and business practices of 3A, the chance to snag a new zombie from the line for $50 was an opportunity I wasn’t going to miss.
If you compare this toy to the Shadow Zomb (review here) you’ll see that there are minor differences — the faces/heads — but I effectively replaced the Shadow Zomb. And I won’t again make the mistake of letting future bad toys and experiences harm fun toys of the past.
Photos, Do Your Thing!
And since the HoodZomb is pretty much just the older Shadow Zomb (review here) I’m going to cheat now and leave you and the photos alone together. Don’t forget to click on each photo if you want a closer look since these will expand to a much larger size. (I hate tiny photos online.) Enjoy the shots, and I hope you’ll return soon to see what other nonsense I’m posting online for your entertainment.
To see even more of the Ankou (shown with the HoodZomb in the below pics) don’t miss these outdoor shots I took earlier this month. Ankou really seems to hate the HoodZomb, or maybe they’re just playing some weird game that I don’t understand.
