Review – Hero Patrol Precincts Oregon State Police
Jada’s Hero Patrol Precincts series of toy cars (Amazon.com search*) offers toy car collectors a pretty cool idea for a line: police cars from various states. This line’s a few years old now, but if you can find them the quality is fantastic and the car’s are highly recommended.
Today we’re looking at the 1/64 Oregon State Police 2010 Dodge Charger. This black police car has opening doors, an opening trunk, and — as the pics prove — looks pretty damn sweet. Lots of tampo work to get all of the Oregon labels on the body and the light bar makes this more than just a Charger.
While pricier than Mattel’s Hot Wheels cars, the Hero Patrol Precincts series of toy cars (Amazon.com search*) are actually well worth the extra cost. When I bought this at Walmart it was about $3.50, but with the extra heft and slightly larger size of the car over Hot Wheels I have no complaints with the cost.
Of course that was then and today the Hero Patrol Precincts series of toy cars (Amazon.com search*) aren’t in stores and cost a little more. Still, if you can find these for $5 or $6 they are worth grabbing if you like the looks. This is one chunky and heavy piece of diecast metal and it looks great. Good job, Jada!
