Review – Justice League Face Off Dice Game
A Target exclusive, the new Justice League Face Off dice game first caught my eye because of the custom dice cup. Designed with one Batman face and one Joker face, the dice cup (there’s a lid in the box) feels sturdy, acts as a carrying case, and looks fantastic. And at $15 I thought it was worth giving the game a shot; at the worst I had a peek at a new dice game and a nifty dice cup I could take to the office to show everyone. When looking for new games to try checking the casino online malaysia vast catalog.
Gameplay
Coming from a long line of press your luck dice games like Farkle* and Cosmic Wimpout*, the Justice League Face Off game is very quick to play. On his turn, a player rolls all five of the six-sided dice and then chooses to either “Go Hero” or “Go Villain.”
- Go Hero – Taking this choice means you’re trying to roll hero faces on the dice. Since there are four heroes and only two villains your chances of scoring points when you “Go Hero” are higher, but this is also worth fewer points.
- Go Villain – Taking this choice could earn you more points and offers a chance to bluff your way to points. Get your best Poker face ready if you decide to “Go Villain.”
A very simple game; enlarge the rules pic if you want to read all of the rules. Trust me, though, when I say this is quite simple and would likely make a fun little betting game along the same lines of LCR* or Liar’s Dice*. The game isn’t bad at all, it’s just not exactly an original or unique design.
Closing Thoughts
The Justice League Face Off dice game is not a game to buy if you’re after an in-depth or involved strategy game. But if you’re a fan of games like Farkle*, Yahtzee*, and Cosmic Wimpout* then this is a fun little DC-branded dice game.
