Review – Pop! Heroes Domo Batman
Part of Funko’s entire line of Pop! Vinyl toys (Amazon.com search*), the Pop! Heroes Domo Batman* came home with me a few weeks ago after I found it on clearance at a 7-Eleven in Dallas. 50% off was enough of a discount for me to grab this guy, and now’s he’s opened and on display with other Batman toys in my collection.
Was he worth the five bucks? Yes.

Articulation
We’ll knock the easy one right out of the way by saying: Funko’s Pop! Heroes Domo Batman* has zero points of articulation. That pose he’s in? That is it. Period. I had thought the left arm would swivel at the shoulder, but it is firmly locked in place. So we can call this a statue if we want to.

Sculpt
Very adorable, as we can often expect from Funko. I’ve no idea if this shares any parts with other DC/Domo toys that Funko produced, but after seeing how they handle the rest of the Pop! series I suspect everything we see here is unique to the Batman design. Funko creates some incredible sculpts and this toy continues that tradition.

Paint
A Funko tradition that isn’t quite as pleasant as their amazing sculpts is the sometimes-poor paint apps, and unfortunately the Pop! Heroes Domo Batman* is a bit of a slide backward when it comes to paint quality. The paintwork isn’t awful, but after improvements I saw with some of the Funko toys last year the splotchy and rough patches on this toy are definitely a step back. Nothing so terrible to prevent me from buying more Funko toys, but clearly paint is something we should all watch closely when buying Funko toys at a store.

Closing Thoughts
The Pop! Heroes Domo Batman* only came home with me because I found it on clearance, and what I bought looks cute on the shelf and adds some visual fun to the Batman shelf it stands on, but I’m unlikely to buy any other DC/Domo toys. This isn’t because of the toy — which is just fine — but more because I just don’t “get” Domo as a character. Maybe that makes me old and grumpy and a hater of all things fun, but it’s true.

I do not get Domo. But that doesn’t stop the Pop! Heroes Domo Batman* from making a fun addition to my collection. Just not so fun that I’m going out to buy more in the series.
i also only bought this Domo- haven’t taken him out of the box yet, but he’s kinda fun
