Review – Pop! Vinyl Iron Man

Yep, time for more Pop! Vinyl (Amazon.com search*) excitement from Funko with this Pop! Vinyl Iron Man that I grabbed on clearance. This guy’s a constructed a lot like the Pop! Vinyl Captain America (review here) and continues the Funko tradition of remarkably cute sculpts mixed with less-than-perfect paint apps.

An Iron Man Bobblehead!

The Pop! Vinyl Iron Man* has only a single point of articulation: the head bobbles on a spring. As anyone who has followed the line already knows, the Pop! toys come in either a bobblehead form or a toy with a neck swivel depending on the terms of the license. And this toy’s from the bobblehead family, which means that he is taking me deeper down the bobblehead path . . . which is somewhere I never expected to go.

As Cute as Ever!

Like all of the Pop! Vinyl toys (Amazon.com search*), this Iron Man is an adorable work of art that stands nicely with my other Iron Man toys and statues. It’s pretty much exactly what you see in the photos and doesn’t need a lot of words from me.

It’s Over?

Rather than waste any more of your time chattering on about the Pop! Vinyl Iron Man* I’m going to say that you either like what you see and want one or you hate the design and wish I would shut the hell up. So I’ll do just that . . . but not without taking a chance to direct you at my World of Pop! book review.
