Review – Star Wars Face Off Dice Game
If you’ve already read my Justice League Face Off review from last year (review here) then this latest game won’t be a surprise at all. Wonder Forge has taken last year’s DC game and created the Star Wars Face Off Dice Game*, a fast-playing dice game that encourages you to press-your-luck as you attempt to score more points than your opponents.
Gameplay
The Star Wars Face Off Dice Game* plays exactly like the Justice League game, so I really do suggest that you read my Justice League Face Off review if you want a blow-by-blow of the gameplay.
The short form is: Roll all five dice and then choose to “Go Hero” or “Go Villain” and try to score as many points as possible. Hero is easier (there are four hero icons on each die and only two villain icons), but Villain rewards more points.
Closing Thoughts
Wonder Forge’s Star Wars Face Off Dice Game* is very simple and makes a fantastic collectible if only for that fun dice cup.
Fans of games like Farkle*, Yahtzee*, and Cosmic Wimpout* will find this an excellent fit in their game library, and I have to say this would make a great Christmas gift for the Star Wars fan in your life.
