Review – Transformers Rescue Bots Heatwave
Line: Transformers * Manufacturer: Hasbro * Year: 2011
Over the last couple of weeks I think I’ve done a pretty good job of introducing you guys to the Transformers Rescue Bots* toy series. Though designed for younger kids, I’ve personally found myself captured by these durable and fun toys and today I’m taking just a little time to show another transforming robot toy in the series, the Transformers Rescue Bots Heatwave*
There’s not a lot to say that wasn’t already said when we looked at the Rescue Bots Optimus Prime (review here), because what we get here is another quick-changing robot that’s cute and recommended to any Transformers fan who can appreciate the boxy, soft-edged design. This is one chunky and tough toy and everything I said about Optimus Prime’s design and paintwork applies to Heatwave.
Last week we looked at the Cody Burns & Rescue Hose that combines with Heatwave (review here), and while adult collectors can skip the human characters I suggest that parents who buy a robot for a child also buy the related human/gadget pack. The entire set will run you about $20 and the team is definitely cooler than the individual toys.
Enjoy the Photos!
Since there isn’t much new that I can say I’ll leave you guys with the photos of the Transformers Rescue Bots Heatwave* toy. This is as much fun as Optimus Prime and if you’ve got a kid who loves robots then you really should consider grabbing him one or two of the pieces from this series.
I know I’m gonna end up with one or two more of these.
Philip Reed is still watching for the next wave of these toys, and he’s starting to think that maybe Bumblebee doesn’t look all that bad.
Thats a great litte transformer toy my son would love it and a very nice review
