Robotron and Bug Bots in the 1985-1986 Buddy L Catalog

I’ve already reviewed one Robotron toy and one Bug Bots toy, both from Buddy L in the eighties, so this page from the company’s 1985-1986 catalog isn’t showing you some unknown toylines you’ve never heard of before. That’s not the goal, though, so as long as you get a little smile as you click on the image and take a closer look at the page then I see this post as a success.

Planet Robotron. Awesome. I sometimes sit there and wish my job was to come up with bad names for toylines and worlds. Just how much fun would it be to get handed a pile of cheap transforming robot toys and tasked with building a world around the line?
