Rock Lords in the News!
Well, in 1986 Rock Lords were in the news in this article from the February 10 issue of The Sumter Daily Item. An Associated Press article by Bethany Kandel, the story is one of those “Hey, it’s Toy Fair!” articles that are so easy to locate each February. The article mostly focuses on gadgety and gimmicky electronic toys of the year, but Tonka’s Rock Lords get a friendly mention (and photo!) that I want to share here:
“Tonka’s new Rock Lords look like boulders, but with a few twists they turn into good guy and bad guy action figures.”
