Rod Penner’s Incredible Micro-Paintings
Thanks to an article at Fast Company I am now aware of the paintings of Rod Penner, an artist who is attacking a series of micro-paintings about small town America. Check the gallery on Penner’s site and keep reminding yourself that these are paintings — many seem to be 6″ x 6″ in size — and not photographs.
The Fast Company article gives us a little info on how Penner creates these works, but I’m going to choose to believe that it’s magic and amazing skill that leads to these little paintings. These are spectacular!
