“ROM Has Come . . . Evil is on the Run!”

I had thought that I had shared this 1979 Rom Space Knight comic advertisement before, but a quick search through battlegrip.com isn’t revealing the ad for this old Parker Brothers toy, so let’s take a few moments and get this online for the world to enjoy. This ad comes from one of Marvel’s Star Wars comics of the late seventies, and looking this over makes me kinda want to chase down an original Rom toy. Hey, I know it’s a brick of late seventies plastic and electronics, but it’s still kinda nifty . . . and this ad is as appealing today as it was when I was seven-years-old.
