Rough Pages: Action Figure Carrying Cases Book

With Collect These Figures and Accessories effectively ready to head to the printer (learn more here), I’ve started assembling the first rough pages for a book devoted to action figure carrying cases. I start these projects with trying out various page designs and layout ideas, and after several starts and stops, I’ve settled on taking a more minimalistic approach with this book. Here are eight pages — the book’s introduction — to give you an idea of what this is going to turn into when I’m finished.

  1. This is awesome! Dang man, you’re really cementing your role as an authority on action figures. Keep it up! I love the content and quality of your books. Any idea how modern you’re going to go with this? Kenner and Hasbro really released some cool Star Wars cases throughout the 1990’s for the POTFII line and the Episode 1 line. My daughter uses their 1996 generic black box with a Darth Vader image on it for her Star Wars Hero Mashers but I also have a C-3P0 molded case that lights up, a Millennium Falcon Case, and an R2-D2 case from Ep1 that turns into a Trade Federation Battleship playset.
