Saturday Morning Cereal Time with Powdered Donutz

If you’ve read The Great American Cereal Book* — or if you just happened to be a kid in the eighties — you know that there was a time when our society was perfectly happy shoving handfuls of cereal into kids. Hey, how do you think we were able to stay wide awake at 6am to watch Saturday morning cartoons and then crash when the fun ended at noon? Cereal with sugar . . . lots of sugar!

And what offers up more sugar per bite than a bowl of Powered Donutz cereal? Now this isn’t the first time this cereal has found its way onto the site. If you jump to this 2011 post you can see another commercial for this brand. Need more? mrbreakfast.com has an entire page devoted to the cereal, and there’s even a Facebook page intent on getting this cereal back on shelves. That’s not very likely in today’s environment.
