Save $1 on Tomy’s Little Van Goes in 1980

I shared a video of Tomy’s Little Van Goes art toy a few days ago, showing off how the toy works as I tested my new acquisition. Awesome stuff, and I am totally seeking out more of the art kits that Tomy released in the late seventies and early eighties. As part of researching these old toys, I set off into the newspaper archives and soon uncovered this September 10, 1980, ad from the Port Huron, Michigan, The Times Herald newspaper. Only $2.99 for the toy at Trade Way that year? Want!!! Oh, wait, I’ve got one now. Still, I’d love to find the box to go with this toy . . .
