“Save 18%-21%” on Hasbro’s Transformers in 1985

June 6, 1985. The Morning Call of Allentown, Pennsylvania, brings us a Hess’s ad block for Hasbro’s then-incredibly hot Transformers line, specifically the Dinobots, Soundwave, Blaster, and Perceptor. For launching with mostly toy cars and planes, it sure didn’t take Hasbro long to dramatically extend the variety of alt modes in the Transformers line.
