Say Hello to Mood, M.D.
This tiny resin toy is ready to take over the world; if he can just reach the top of the counter where he last saw his global control machine. Built out of toy parts and a lot of plumbers’ compound, the master for this resin toy was finished weeks ago but this is the first painted version. The mold works great, which impresses the hell out of me because of how complicated the piece is. This is a one-piece resin toy without any articulation (and some insane undercuts).
I’ve painted two of these and need to decide if I paint any more in this same color scheme or if I try some other colors. But not until next weekend . . . now it’s time for work.
Awesome!about how big is this fella?
@Steve – Roughly 3-inches tall. He’s pretty small, but a beefy sculpt. The hood, robe, and parts of the cape are my work. The arms, hands, feet, face, and bits of the cape are from 4 different toys.
Love this guy! I’m a big Dr Doom nut anyway, so it’s natural that this little fellow would make me smile. Great work, Phil!
Medical license revoked??!! RARRRGH!
