Schenectady Gazette and the Star Wars Landspeeder in 1978
This full page from the Schenectady Gazette newspaper in 1978 may be one of the coolest Star Wars toy ads I’ve seen yet. Kenner’s range of Star Wars action figures, vehicles, and assorted merchandise is well represented on this page from the Barkers store. I can’t say I’ve ever been to a Barkers, but based on this ad I can say that any one of us would have loved browsing the shelves in March of 1978.
