Schergen DIY Toys by Dust

Toy artist Dust is offering his Schergen DIY resin toys for sale over at TheDirtyCream and they look great. Unfortunately, it may only be the third of the month but I’ve basically spent my toy budget for January (I’ve got some money planned for Hong Kong, in case I find something special, but great deals the last few days sucked me in).

I’m jealous of anyone who gets one of these pieces. The design is wickedly evil and fun, and even though the prices are high they really look like they’re worth the cash. And there are even some painted pieces available:

“Realized to his exhibition “Surreal Minds” in New York, Schergen Regular NR.1 and NR.2 are limited to 30 copies. Every figurine is unique, realized in Polyuréthane and hand-painted in Germany by dust (painter, sculptor, designer toys). Schergen Regular NR.1 is about 7,5 cms (3″), the NR.2 approximately 7 cms (2,75″) and their respective companions 3 cms (1,2″).”

  1. Now that’s totally wicked cool, so they’re supposedly pre-painted yes? The unpainted pics up top threw me off.

Oh, on an unrelated note, saw Munchkin at a certain store, was mighty tempted to grab it, hehe.
