Serpentor is Still Awesome

I thought I had written about the Cobra Emperor before, and a quick search of the site led me to this post in 2009 where I expressed my love for the old Marvel G.I. Joe comics and admitted to being a Serpentor fan. Well, nothing has changed and seeing that custom Sigma 6 Serpentor (last week) just makes me still wish that Hasbro had produced an official Serpentor for the G.I. Joe: Sigma 6 line.

The 1986 Hasbro commercial for Serpentor blends the Marvel commercial (when did Marvel last air a commercial for a comic book?) with live action footage of the toys. Yes, someone at Hasbro needs to launch a Kickstarter project so that I can get my hands on a Sigma 6 Serpentor . . . almost makes me wish I could get a job at Hasbro to be in charge of planning and running Kickstarter projects for them.
