Sideshow’s New Jabba the Hut and Princess Leia Statue

While at the Hong Kong Toy Fair last week I ran across one of the factories that manufacture’s Sideshow’s polystone/resin statues. They had the Hulkbuster statue (mentioned here) on display and it looked fantastic in person. Chatting with the factory rep makes me think there’s some major money to be made in statues . . . but only if you’ve got a sculptor who can do work of this quality and tens of thousands of dollars to invest up front. The factory minimums aren’t all that high, but the price per unit is terrifying.
