Site Maintenance: Rescued Comments and a New Tag
Turns out the site comment filters were chewing away at some legitimate comments, so I just scrolled through 600+ blog comments that had been marked as spam and rescued some real commentary. Stupid computers. I should try adding a better commenting system to the site. Any suggestions?
In other site news I’ve added a new tag — “outfit” — and went through the 9,000+ posts at the site and added the tag to the appropriate posts. It’s nothing major, but it should help if anyone’s searching for how many times I’ve mentioned outfit sets for action figures.
Oh man, I thought I was going crazy! I’d comment and only about half would show up. Then I’d go back and try again and forget which stories I’d commented on. Sorry for the inevitable double posts. 🙂 Yay technology!
@Jay – It definitely wasn’t anything you were doing. I think the internet just hates me. I need to get better and check the spam filter more often.
