Sitting Down to Watch The Invincible Iron Man
I picked up and watched The Invincible Iron Man* a couple of years ago when the DVD was released, but since then it has been sitting on our shelf of DVDs. Well, time for me to lay back and relax and watch this animated film again. I don’t remember it as great, but I do remember it as fun.
So why did I pull this DVD out today? Because this morning Gina and I finished watching Iron Man: Armored Adventures** and it was a lot more fun than I expected. I’m looking forward to seeing what they do next with this animated series.
Did the animated Iron Man series from the nineties ever make it to DVD?
Update: Yeah, it was a fun film. Some of the computer animation is pretty cool, and the storyline is okay, but this doesn’t jump out at me as one of the better animated superhero films from the last few years. I did love the shot in Stark’s secret lab where we could see dozens of different suits of armor.
The special features aren’t all that great, but there is a catalog of different suits of armor. If the “Hall of Armor” feature had been animated it would have been the best part of the DVD.

I didn’t like this movie too much, but I remember liking Dr. Strange, if you haven’t seen it you should give it a shot.
@Clark – Thanks for the recommendation. I haven’t seen Doctor Strange yet, so I’ll add it to the list.
