“Some Things Pale by Comparison.”

Look at all of that stuff crammed into the 1985 DC Heroes roleplaying game box! This classic superhero RPG (find at Amazon.com*) kept me and a few friends entertained on weekends and during the summer across 1987 to 1989 or so, and looking back at this ad from Game News magazine reinforces what a great bargain the box set really was. We played the TSR Marvel RPG a lot more than the DC Heroes roleplaying game, but that was more because we loved the Marvel Faserip system and not because Mayfair shorted us on goodies in that game box.
