Sounds Like Square 10-Packs May Be Gone

The buzz is that the 10-packs are gone, though there may be a few tomorrow when the actual release takes place. As you know, yesterday I was trying to make a decision: Buy a 10-pack and choose one or two to keep or go ahead and skip? Well, I bought a 10-pack.

Does that make me a dirty scalper? I don’t think so, since this is my current plan:

• Play with the toys. Photograph and review each one. Maybe in pairs, but not one per review or all ten in one review.
  
• Choose one or two to keep. After playing with them, I should have a better idea of which one I like best.
  
• Choose one to use for a Battlegrip contest. That is, give one Square away.
  
• eBay the rest, hopefully breaking even on the entire deal. And I’ll eBay them as singles, which should make it easier for people who couldn’t normally afford a $100 toy to at least get one of these. Hell, maybe the thing to do is load them all with “Buy It Now” and announce when they’re available.

(And now I hear that some stores will sell singles. That’s good, but it doesn’t change my current thinking.)
