Spider-Man and Hostess Cup Cakes in 1977
The classic Hostess comic advertisements never fail to entertain, and this 1977 Spider-Man ad continues the fun as we watch Spider-Man toss a Hostess Cup Cake to distract a thief. Great ad, even if the panel backgrounds are a bit simple, and looking this over again has me wishing that comic books included as many fascinating ads as they did back when I was a kid.
