Spotted Online – 1988 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Catalog from Playmates
Yesterday the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Ultimate Visual History* arrived, and flipping through the book I can instantly tell I’m gonna love this. Definitely recommended, and it’s awesome to see Mark (see “Dear Mark, Please Write A Book Soon . . .”) get so much time in the spotlight talking about turning the brand into the powerhouse that it became.
Anyway, it was flipping through the new book that soon had me poking at the web where I quickly found the 1988 toy catalog. Loving the art, the toys, and definitely the entire look of this catalog that’s over two decades old. We really need toy companies to start producing books that collect all of their catalogs into a single hardcover.
