Spotted Online – 2005 G.I. Joe Scrap Iron Review at Joe A Day
Click through to read the Scrap Iron review at Joe A Day, but if you want my opinion (based solely on viewing photos, since I’ve never handled this action figure) then I’ll say this toy doesn’t deserve to wear the name of Scrap Iron. As one of my favorite figures in the eighties line (see the original at yojoe.com) I find this 2005 version to be a weak imposter. Boo, Hasbro, for even making this ugly abomination.
At least the 2009 version packaged with the G.I. Joe Heetseek Missile System* looks a bit more like the original . . . even if that one is missing the fantastic little rocket launcher that the original one came with.

Before the 2009 version there is also the 25th anniversary regular version coming in the comicpack with rocket launcher aaaand…forgot who else, and he’s there with all the right coloring and scarred face (glasses go off and you the disfigured face).

@Ralph – Nice comic pack version!
