Spotted Online – 4-LOM to Zuckuss and the F-LER
I do love me some Star Wars Mini-Rigs, so seeing this post at 4-LOM to Zuckuss made me quite happy. The feature’s title alone — Kenner Cameos — caught my eye, but as soon as I saw that the post was focusing on the unproduced 1985 Mini-Rig cargo handler (see theswca.com) that was designed to work with the Millennium Falcon toy I was even more excited.
Now I had heard of the Millennium Falcon Owner’s Workshop Manual* before, but I passed on the book because it wasn’t quite exciting enough that I wanted it. All of that changes now that I know the unproduced Mini-Rig appears in the book. That’s fantastic!
And as if that wasn’t enough, it turns out the book also includes the mini-vehicle that Hasbro released with their giant 2.5′ Millennium Falcon* toy. Yes!!! Hmmmm. Now I’m left wondering if Mini-Rigs have found their way into any other Star Wars books . . .

I’ve been waiting to see if any Minirigs appear in Star Wars Rebels. Since they include the Imperial Troop Transport vehicle in the line, a minirig doesn’t seem to far out of the question.
