Spotted Online – A History of the Outer Space Men at Atomic Flash Deluxe
Over at the Atomic Flash Deluxe blog is this post diving into a history of the Outer Space Men, from the line’s start in the sixties all the way through to today’s Four Horsemen-crafted works.
The post makes heavy use of links to Outer Space Men creator Mel Birnkrant’s site, but when it distills so much information down into one short post I’m certainly happy enough. Especially since reading the Atomic Flash Deluxe post again directed me to the 1977 Space Warriors page; I love that Birnkrant has spent so much time documenting the history of the line, even this weird attempt to cash-in on the Star Wars success of the late seventies!
And of course there’s all the time I’ll now spend reading through the rest of the Atomic Flash Deluxe site . . .
