A few days ago I shared a video of the Acid Rain series that had been shot back in 2012 at the Hong Kong Toy Fair. In the video we saw a vehicle that connected in front of the ST-01 Stronghold, allowing the two toys to become one larger contraption. When I posted the video I mentioned that the front section of the combined form seemed to be missing . . .
I found it.
Woah. Far, far cooler than I was expecting . . . but still no pre-order links for this vehicle. Still, you definitely want to scan that thread for more pics and info on the Acid Rain series. This looks to me like a line that’s inspired by not only G.I. Joe but also Ashley Wood’s World War Robot and the Maschinen Krieger series by Kow Yokoyama. This is a good thing.
